Educational Journeys to Normandy

The fruit harvest

All over Normandy fruit is being collected from  apple orchards, as well as from the private  gardens, vines, roadsides and country hedgerows. Together with the apple harvest, a huge amount of pears, berries, grapes and assorted fruits are now finding their way into local markets jam jars and fruit bowls.

Here at Le Clos, despite the less than ideal weather conditions this summer,  apples, pears, figs, grapes, raspberries, blackberries and tomatoes have all been successfully grown.
