Le Clos is a school journey centre that hosts trips mainly from UK schools organised through LFIF (Learning French in France)
Our trips have an emphasis on French language and culture, delivered by experienced specialist teachers, although we also offer art and history trips for schools and colleges.
With each course there will be a full day and evening programme of activities, although, of course, our recommended programme is only a guide, and can be altered to suit the requirements of your group.
Our trips are an all-inclusive package, with full coach service included. All meals are included – breakfast, lunch (a picnic, or cold lunch) and main evening meal.
Our coaches will pick up from schools. The usual crossing will be Portsmouth to Cherbourg, using the Brittany Ferries high-speed service, departing in the morning and arriving at our centre at lunchtime. If it is more convenient for groups, we can also use other crossing routes, including the Channel Tunnel.
We promise sole occupancy of our centre for groups of over 24 students. One free accompanying adult will be taken for every 8 students.
LFIF provides guidance on passport and visa requirements, as well as on health issues. The Foreign & Commonwealth Office produces up-to-date travel information to help British travellers make informed decisions about travelling abroad via www.fco.gov.uk/knowbeforeyougo
LFIF is a member of ABTA, membership number W8925. For more information, please go to the following page www.abta.com
