Set in a quiet village in the beautiful Calvados countryside, only one km from the sea and nine km from Bayeux, our recently converted residential centre provides an ideal setting for students and staff to learn about French language and culture in an enjoyable and relaxed environment. The building, made from local stone, is 200 years old, and many of the original features have been retained. The centre includes two learning areas – fitted with computers and an interactive whiteboard – which open out to a lovely courtyard, with a herb garden and an old cider press. In addition, there is a delightful enclosed garden with an art studio converted from an 18th century boulangerie. The centre has extensive enclosed grounds with facilities for sport activities.
Our student accommodation consists of twelve en suite rooms, each sleeping four and catering for up to 48 students in total. We have rooms designed for physically disabled pupils and en suite rooms for accompanying adults, plus a staff lounge with TV. Accommodation is on two floors, enabling separation by gender or for administrative reasons. All learning materials are included in the price of the trip.
